How often do you lose your belongings or misplace them? It happens when I'm distracted or trying to do too much at once. The other day, I was shopping for a new rug and I put my cell phone down on the store shelf to lay out a rug to get a better look. Luckily, I saw my phone as I returned the rug on the shelf! As adults, if we can easily misplace items, it's even easier for small children, like my kids, who are constantly asking me if I've seen their belongings. Thank goodness for stickers that can help kids label which items are theirs. StickerKid has a variety of stickers in different colors and sizes, which is a big help when your kids leave things behind at school, camp, or a friend's house.
About StickerKidI always enjoy hearing about the inspiration behind a company's story. I was happy to find out that similar my dilemma, that is the reason StickerKid was started. Below is a little about how it all began. You can read the full story on their About Us page.
"It all started in Switzerland during a friends gathering, a group of parents talking about the little ones and how they’re big time pros at losing and misplacing their clothes, toys, school supplies and shoes. They started giving ideas on how to stop this and help their kids keep their belongings as well as helping parents save money by not having to purchase the same items over and over."
I was happy to hear most parents had the similar issues with keeping track of belongings! I was excited to try this product and decided to try the Summer Camp Labels.
It was perfect for what we needed since my daughter goes to the babysitter bringing half her bedroom! Also, she brings a ton of stuff whenever we go on summer trips and to places like the pool, beach, or theme park.
She'll be starting school, too. I already anticipate she will be leaving belongings behind or mixing them up with another child's items. The camp pack came with 14 shoe labels. Kids are constantly taking off their shoes, so these labels are extremely helpful.
Labels for clothes are great, too, especially for outerwear like rain coats and jackets. These are iron-on labels. They were easy to use, just be sure to place a piece of parchment or baking paper in between the clothes and the labels before ironing. Wash it after 48 hours of allowing the labels to settle on the clothes. I washed these on delicate and they still stayed in place.
The pack came with 60 small labels and 44 medium labels. You can use them on most items from toys to books to utensils. We placed them on the items below, along with on her cups, school supplies, and silverware.
The summer pack includes:
- 44 medium labels
- 14 shoe labels
- 60 small labels
- 32 iron-on clothes labels
