Pumpkin Patch and Trunk or Treat {WW Linky Party}

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

 Co-Hosting Wordless Wednesday Linky Party with Oh My Heartsie Girl

Welcome to another WW this month as I co-host this fun party for Oh My Heartsie Girl!  I wanted to share some of our activities we've been crossing off our Fall Bucket List this year.  This month, we were able to visit the pumpkin patch and go to a Trunk or Treat at my son's former preschool.  I'm glad we were able to get another great family photo taken while we visited.  Come party with us below, share your own photos or activities or take a look around to see what others have been busy with in October!

Pumpkin Patch Visit in Jacksonville, FL 2014

Fall Family Traditions

It's become a family tradition for us to visit a pumpkin patch every year.  The kids enjoy picking out small, personal pumpkins for themselves to decorate and a larger pumpkin to decorate.

Jacksonville, FL, fall, fall bucket list

My little girl has had this costume since last year (it is meant for babies but she enjoys wearing it as a top).  She loves wearing it to the pumpkin patch so she can sit with the pumpkins, too!

Fall Trunk or Treat at Mandarin Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FL 2014

Halloween, clone trooper, Star Wars costume
Dressed up in his Halloween costume this year as a clone trooper.

Her costume is Anna from "Frozen."  She had to have the cotton candy - one of her favorite sweet treats!

I'm sure it was delicious!

Little Lyla B. decorated her own sugar cookie, topped with a mini pumpkin.

fall, autumn, fall bucket list

The Mandarin Presbyterian Church here in our town has this Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat event every year.  We've been going since my son was one.  They have trunk or treat, hay rides, games, food, cookie decorating, different craft activities and bounce houses.  It's a fun, family-friendly event that's great for little ones to attend especially if you don't plan on taking your kids to trick-or-treat on Halloween.  See my article in Ella and Annie Magazine here that I wrote for the October issue for more fun, creative ideas for younger kids on Halloween.
