Breakfast with Cinnamon Roll Waffles

Best of Both Worlds

Written by Bernadyn Nettles

Cinnamon Rolls...

My little boy, Brody, loves cinnamon rolls.  Anytime we go anywhere that has a cinnamon roll as a choice, that is his pick.  The ones he usually eats are the store-bought Pillsbury cinnamon rolls.  We typically bake them in the oven, just like the instructions say to do but we found out that you can also stick them into the waffle maker.  That is just what we did the other day...

Cinnamon Roll Waffles

We're fans of waffles in our house, particularly more so using this easy two ingredient waffle recipe I tried out in a previous post here.  Why not try making waffles with cinnamon rolls, too?  It was worth it and since it was faster to make, I'll be doing this again for my son.

What you need:

  • Waffle maker
  • Can of cinnamon rolls

How to Make Cinnamon Roll Waffles:

    1. Preheat waffle maker and spray with non-stick spray.
    2. Place individual cinnamon roll into waffle maker until cooked.  It takes about the same time to cook the waffle - around two minutes.
    3. Spread cream cheese frosting onto waffles.

    Quick and easy!

How about you, do you like cinnamon rolls and have you tried it waffle-style?
