The Fall season has brought in some beautiful, cool weather. In fact, it's the perfect kind of weather to visit the pumpkin patch! That's just what we did over the weekend. We visited the pumpkin patch where my son, Brody, went for his school field trip last year. It's on the Mandarin side of Jacksonville at Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church.
Bunches of pumpkins!
My little pumpkin dressed as a pumpkin.
I can't remember what was so funny but it must have been worth laughing this much!.
Where's Lyla Brielle?
There she is!
Beautiful day to pick some pumpkins.
She is obsessed with pumpkins...
That's why we decided her costume this year was to dress her up like a pumpkin, too!
My other pumpkin
The kids loved the pumpkin patch. I would definitely recommend visiting one while you still can especially if you have little ones.
She calls them, "pumptins."
She picked out so many pumpkins. Her favorite were the baby pumpkins, of course!
Entrance to the maze
She couldn't find her way through the maze. She just had to follow her big bro.
It was a fun time at the pumpkin patch and has become a nice little family tradition of ours to visit every year. My son won't let us decorate the pumpkins because he insists on eating them, saying, "Mmmm, let's make pumpkin pie!"
Does your family get pumpkins for the Fall season? What's your favorite thing to do with them?
