#BacktoSchool Giveaway Hop 2016

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

We've been having a pretty crazy summer here and now, it's time to start planning for back to school. My son will be in the third grade this fall and my daughter will be entering preschool. What?! Where did time go, seriously?? Back to school shopping can be dreadful for parents, no matter what grade your child will be preparing for, and let's not even talk about those students starting college. Yikes! Breaking the bank can happen quickly and easily when it comes to buying school supplies, clothes, backpacks, dorm necessities, etc. I wanted to share some love and help you out a bit through today's Oh! The Places You'll Go! Back to School Giveaway Hop, which is hosted by The Kids Did It and The Mommy Island.

Bricks 4 Kidz Imagine This Photo Contest

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

Are your kids Lego fans? My kids are, and love to build random things with them. Summer is a great time to play with Legos, especially if it's too hot or raining outside. If your kids are Lego fans, too, we have a fun contest for them to show off their Lego-building skills for a chance to win a cool prize and be featured! See all the information below for how to enter.

Make Your Space Any Place with Monkey Mat

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

Summer is when many of us spend more time outdoors, go on vacation, or travel on road trips. One thing you have to be prepared for when you are outdoors is where and how to make space for sitting down whether it be to relax, eat, or put kids down aside from the bare ground. Even if you are indoors, but away from home, you need to have something to cover the dirty floor if you want to make space to sit. Monkey Mat gives you that comfort and convenience!

Destination Dino at Jacksonville Zoo in FL

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

Over the long 4th of July weekend, we went to visit our local Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. It was the last weekend that the Destination Dino exhibit was there. We have been wanting to go but it's been a busy few months and our weekends are usually so booked as it is with various activities and work schedules. Luckily, for the long weekend, both my husband and I were free and we made time to visit different places around town to celebrate 4th of July. We went to the zoo Sunday. Check out all the fun pictures we took while we were there!

4th of July Celebration in Jacksonville, Florida

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

How was your 4th of July weekend? I was thankful for the long weekend and that we were able to spend it visiting different places in our town everyday. Independence Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love the relaxed feeling, the summer weather, and the firework shows. You don't have to worry about buying presents, visiting all your relatives, or stressing out about cooking all kinds of food. At least, for me I prefer just eating barbecue and the good ol' American hot dogs and hamburgers. Yum!

Brighten Up Your Skin with Ole Henriksen

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

I received my first Influenster Voxbox with skincare products by Ole Henriksen. This is my first time hearing about this brand, so I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and was glad to receive it after trying it the first night. I noticed results immediately. My skin seems to be growing more sensitive as I get older, so I am picky about what I put on it. Thankfully, this brand worked well for me!

Blueberry Farm and Blueberry Recipes

Written by, Bernadyn Nettles

It's blueberry season here in Florida and we took advantage of that by visiting a local blueberry farm and picking blueberries. It was our first time going and was another summer activity we checked off on our Summer Bucket List this year. The farm we visited was Dowless Blueberry Farm in Jacksonville, Florida. It was a lovely farm with three fields of blueberries to pick.
